Veecle's software stack makes it much easier for car manufacturers to program functions for their vehicles. Veecle enables the integration of modern digital technologies, such as cloud services, touchscreens and smartphone connectivity, with traditional vehicle components. Compatibility with existing electronic control units (ECUs) enables advanced functionalities while maintaining the integrity and safety of established systems and keeping them secure from the outside world. Veecle's approach represents a significant advance in vehicle programming as it enables a modern, yet cost-ef- fective, customization and specialization. Veecle's success story began with the founders' realization during their time at the CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security. They observed a major challenge in the automotive industry: traditional car manufacturers, reliant on a network of suppliers, struggled to adapt to consumers' growing expectations for technology-driven features like those in smartphones, including customized applications, modern interfaces, and regular updates — needs that the slow and contractually complex traditional outsourcing model fails to meet effectively. Veecle's solution bridges this gap. By introducing modern software paradigms that enable high-level programming and fully automated security, Veecle offers a solution to meet today's consumer expectations. Al- though this approach was initially met with skepticism, it has quickly proven its worth. It enables car manufacturers to quickly develop and deploy features that meet current consumer trends. This breakthrough has given car manufacturers more control over their software and Veecle has proven that it's possible to have a basic and safe version of a new feature working after days instead of months.
